Special Cuvée stands as one of the most distinguished entry level Champagnes. Family owned and run, Bollinger is dedicated to producing a consistent and distinctive style. To reinforce this commitment, Bollinger launched it's own Charter of Ethics and Quality which guarantees the continuity of style and refinement. Grapes for Special Cuvée are sourced from thirty Crus, approximately 75% of which are estate vineyards. Dry and assertive, powerful and fine, Special Cuvée remains consistently a pure expression of fine Champagne |
Known around the world as one of Australia’s best Rieslings, previous vintage claimed Silver International Wine Challenge. "A lovely pure riesling of gentle charm. Top value as well!" -Winorama.com.au, "From a severe drought-affected vintage comes this floral baby, youthful and pretty with musky elements among lime aromatics, then a firmly bodied palate tight with fine minerally textures, and even now, a sense that its future has a honey glow!" - Adelaide Advertiser, "Peter Lehmann Rieslings shine regularly on the world stage!" -The Telegraph |
Diamond Label has remained a staple around bistrot tables everywhere across Australia for decades. Everyone can appreciate it's consistency of quality, exceptional integration of gentle wood to fruit flavours, and sublime textures. The bottle's diamond shaped footprint is a reflection of Rosemount's label, which has served as a beacon to Chardonnay lovers. A Chardonnay which can lay claim to being the most popular release within it's range annually, it remains confident in varietal personality, velvety in texture, and thoroughly refreshing |
Previous vintage went Gold Medals at Mundus Vini in Germany, Sydney International Wine Competition + 2007 Royal Sydney Wine Show, Silver Medals Decanter World Wine Awards and Qantas Wine Show. Fabulous Margaret River Shiraz. "Leathery, but jolly bonza to drink. Smoke, earth, leather, cherries, if the word wasn’t so over-used I call it Rhone-ish!" -Winefront.com.au, "A gelatinous shiraz wine with syrup-like levels of concentration, two choices here, hug the bottle when you're finished or open another!" -Winemonthly.com.au |
One of the nation's finest effervescent wines, a satiating aperitif style showing lifted fruit and complexity that supports Tasmania's claim to the title of sparkling wine state. "The most pristine Tassie grapes with a tangy nose of lemon, apple and biscuit leading into a very fine, silky palate of crisp, refreshing flavour!" -Cuisine NZ, "Tasmania is emerging as Oz's bets bubbles region thanks to wines like this. A product of premium vineyards, it bristles with zesty citrus and blossom characters and trips lightly across the tongue!" -Virgin Blue |
Vintage 2005 for the Country Selection Chardonnay brought sensational ripeness and good acid balance to the grapes, from a season characterised by cool and moderate conditions in February to April. Small parcels of refined, delicate Mount Gambier and generous, tightly structured Adelaide Hills fruit were included in the blend to compliment the elegant, fine citrus flavours derived from the Coonawarra fruit. The Coonawarra Chardonnay parcels were picked early to retain the delicate regional varietal citrus flavours, tight structure and good length |
Super Bin 389 & 407
Value packed Bin 128 & 28
Over the last forty years Penfolds Bin 389 has developed a strong identity for consistency, reliability and exceptional value. Components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. Wine lovers enjoy it because it's delicious and ready to drink immediately upon release. |
A textbook Cabernet, the varietally expressive Bin 407 highlights the virtue of sensitive vineyard blending, bold Cabernet flavours are supported by a judicious use of soft oak. Magnificent Cabernet, bursting with a rich panoply of cedary highlights which wrap themselves around the thick berry fruit flavours. |
Introduced as one of the first Bin wines within the Penfolds portfolio, it has become an Australian classic. Penfolds Bin 28 is a ripe fleshy warm-climate Shiraz offering structure and generosity of flavour. Bin 128 has claimed an impressive chestful of awards and was twice named Red of the Year at the London International. |
In 1960 Bill Redman persuaded Max Schubert to acquire a parcel of Coonawarra, and the Bin 128 experience began. The only Penfolds to be pure Coonawarra, it was originally labelled as Claret, and whilst the quality has increased immeasurably, very little has changed about how Bin 128 is made. | |
