	Since the early 1950s, Jamiesons Run have been at the forefront of viticulture, sourcing fruit from the best Coonawarra vineyards. Chardonnay is collated from premium sites, earmarked by the winemaking team, parcels are selected on the basis of luscious stonefruit characters, physiological ripeness and refreshing acidity. 	Each $12.99 Dozen $155.88	Jamiesons Run is named after the original property where Mildara Wines was established by the Chaffey brothers in 1888. Various fermentation techniques are used on individual parcels of Chardonnay to build complexity into the finished wine. The majority of the must was fermented in new French and American oak casks under temperature controlled conditions. Some parcels are tank fermented, others are vinified on solids, a portion underwent malolactic to soften the wine. Many of the barrel fermented parcels were matured under oak, experiencing extended lees contact to add complexity until the assemblage. Oak maturation has added complexity, but the fruit characters remain well balanced and upfront
	Vibrant colour, lively citrus hues. Aromas of peach, melon, fig and tropical fruit complexed by nice oak. Wafts of vanillan and marmalade, mildly citrussy, there are doses of nice sour fruit, crispy crunchy appale, and some nice white chocolate which extends onto the palate. On the tongue, there's rich varietal flavours with a creamy mouthful, giving great length and structure to this wine. The lasting impression is a complex, full flavoured wine with a soft, crisp and dry finish. Serve with yabbies in a dill and coconut milk fish curry. An assemblage of Cabernet and Shiraz with Merlot, all fruit being sourced from the best Coonawarra vineyards. There is an abundance of flavours here, berries, dark plums and cherry, enhanced by a fine oak treatment, followed by a tang of spice and cedar to the nose and palate. Jamiesons Run Country Selection Cabernet 2003

The fruit for this wine was harvested from mature low-yielding vines on the Jamiesons Run most northerly Coonawarra vineyards, and grower vineyards east of Penola. A warm and sunny vintage ensured the fruit developed ripe berry flavours, moderate acid and fine, ripe tannins, the vines produced small compact bunches of small berries with excellent colour and regional varietal flavours. The Country Selection Coonawarra is a rich, elegant and perfectly balanced Cabernet Sauvignon from a grand old winery, a splendid red to be enjoyed with roasted lamb or duckling

Vintage 2005 for the Country Selection Chardonnay brought sensational ripeness and good acid balance to the grapes, from a season characterised by cool and moderate conditions in February to April. Small parcels of refined, delicate Mount Gambier and generous, tightly structured Adelaide Hills fruit were included in the blend to compliment the elegant, fine citrus flavours derived from the Coonawarra fruit. The Coonawarra Chardonnay parcels were picked early to retain the delicate regional varietal citrus flavours, tight structure and good length
