Willowglen is one of De Bortoli's most successful and popular series of wines. Originally planned for the exclusivity of restaurants and cafes, the secret to Willowglen's appeal has been the refreshing, multi dimensional palate, seamless integration, polish and consistency. De Bortoli collates parcels of the most vibrant fruit to be vinified into a mouth filling Chardonnay wine, ideally suited to cuisine. Designed to complement good food and vibrant surrounds, the label evokes the idea of leisurely wining and dining in the great Australian outdoors.

De Bortoli has wineries in diverse wine growing regions, each with its own regional style. The philosophy is that great wine begins in the vineyard and that the winemaker should use minimal handling and interference in the winery. The team strive to create wines that they find interesting and exciting, wines that have provenance. De Bortoli plays a leading role in environmental sustainability with a detailed action plan in place, addressing water recycling, waste control, greenhouse gas emissions and other key environmental issues. Willowglen was fermented over a two week period in tank at controlled temperatures between 12ºC and 14ºC. Some components were fermented with the inclusion of French oak. Alcohol 12.5%
  Pale straw in colour with green hues. Zesty lemon citrus and stonefruit bouquets are balanced with a hint of nutty oak. A deliciously fruit driven wine with crisp acid, enhanced by lees stirring, adding a great texture and balance to the mid palate. The subtle oak approach has contributed structure to the wine without overpowering, allowing the citrus and stone fruit flavours to dominate. Fashioned for immediate consumption, a wonderful partner to spicy chicken or seafood dishes.
