Stella Bella Cabernet Merlot 2007
Margaret River is Australia's premier Cabernet appellation and Cabernet Sauvignon is without doubt Margaret River's great vinous endowment. Fine Cabernet should be perfumed yet poised, and meticulous site selection is critical to achieving these qualities. Stella Bella is a mostly Cabernet wine with a third of Merlot, all sourced from several select vineyard sites located centrally around the township of Margaret River and north to Cowaramup, in an endeavour to capture ripe fruit flavours yet retain the distinctive perfume of Margaret River Cabernet

The key selection criteria are all about soil, the best sites consist of lateritic gravels over a clay loam base. The flagship Isa vineyard, just south of Margaret River provides the backbone of fruit. It's signature perfume is ever present in the wine, year in and year out. All the individual vineyard parcels are vinified separately. Following fermentation on skins, malolactic is conducted in tank prior to barrel maturation in Stella Bella's favoured French tonnellerie’s barriques for twenty four months. The length of time ageing is important for the integration of oak, fruit and tannins in the ultimate wine. Bottling occurs in May of the second year, post the vintage and release is four to six months later. Alcohol 14.0%
Dark ruby. Young, powerful and deliciously ripe cabernet aromas of cassis and mint with a touch of mocha and toasted oak spice. A rich, lush wine of abundant fruits, bold in varietal expression with rich fruit that powers over hearty tannins. On the palate are layers of red currant and mulberries, plums and blackberry, blueberries and cassis, the savouryness of dried herb and smoked meat, the spiceyness of cinnamon and clove. This ambling fruit richness is complimented by plentiful ripe fruit tannins and the finest grained French oak. A wine of great proportion, enjoyable now and worthy of cellaring for the medium to long term. To accompany a gourmandise veal rack or a pungent, aged Manchego
Stella Bella Pink Muscat 2009 375ml
Stella Bella Pink Muscat 2009 375ml - Buy Australian & New Zealand Wines On Line All of the good things in life are a Stella Bella. Delicately pink and petillant, fashioned from the finest Muscat grape Blanc A Petits Grain, drawing upon the authentic Moscato wine style, sweetly fruity, low in alcohol and lightly fizzy. The rosa of the berries is expressed sumptuously in the wine's colour, aroma and flavour. "This is a perennial favourite of the authors. There should be more wines of this type as they are so popular with the drinkers – not necessarily with the wine cognoscenti, but the regular wine drinking public!" -Penguin Guide

Stella Bella Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Stella Bella Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2009 - Buy Australian & New Zealand Wines On Line Stella Bella is more than a name or a wine, it is an expression, a passion and a summation of things bright, spirited and beautiful. "My palate was hypnotised by the fully ripe, but grippingly dry fruit. The counterpoint of luscious lime sherbet and palate shocking, uvula cryogenics is mind-numbing. I like this wine - it shows just how important WA is to world winemaking, in its teeny, tiny quantity, yet globally serious way!" -Taste Food & Wine, "Complex and slightly yeasty with lemon and grassy notes. Well balanced and long!" -ANZ Wine Journal
