	Cabernet and Merlot is the way of red wine from Margaret River. You'll get some arguments from the Shiraz dudes but don't pay any attention. Vinified from fruit grown to the best sites, inaugural release claimed a medal at the London International, and this is gonna do some great things so you should get some. "Rich and dry blackcurrants and grippy mint slice chocolates on the palate, moderated by the smoothing influence of merlot. 	Each $16.99 Dozen $203.88	Wine by Brad is a fresh and funky wine, fashioned to convey pure Margaret River regionality. In 2003 a couple of influential winemakers and shadowy ruffians decided there was some fun to be had by putting together some pretty neat parcels of fruit, creating their own label, releasing it with minimal fuss, and then remaining anonymous until the dust settles. With a CV that includes some of the legends of Margaret River, Leeuwin Estate and Xanadu, Brad Wehr was a natural to deal with the day to day duties of making great wine. And he was the only guy called Brad that wanted the job. Some say he is a mythical figure but he is the guy who makes all the decisions, does all the hard yards, and enjoys a good drop too
	Bright garnet colour. Aromas of dark chocolate and coffee, tobacco leaf and blackcurrant, cigarbox and spice, spicy plum and blueberry. The palate follows with fleshy, ripe, red and black berry flavours, a gorgeous creamy texture, and some toasty spicy oak. There’s nothing better than rich, dark chocolate and dense blackcurrant with a touch of mint rounded out by some stylish French oak. Add a touch of red berried Merlot to flesh it out and Cabernet Merlot by Brad is hard to beat, this is pretty smart stuff. Have it alongside pizza, pasta and your mum's sunday roast, but enjoy!
