Muscat of Alexandria is part of the exotic family of Muscat variants. A lusciously fruity grape, it produces delicate and perfumed, crisp white table wines. This delightfully versatile style of Muscat is tailor made for the Australian climate, the wine of choice for relaxed enjoyment with fine food and good company. The zingy tropical fruit flavours are upfront and prominent, whilst the light spritzyness provides a refreshingly clean finish.

Fashioned predominantly from Muscat of Alexandria grapes. Viticultural experts have identified at least two hundred different members of the Muscat family and several of these different clones have been cultivated in Australia for as long as grapes have been grown here. Australian winemakers have a fondness for the variety. It produces delicious, plump, juicy grapes and, depending on which clone is cultivated, when it is harvested and how it is handled, it can produce a wide range of wine styles. Harvested early, it produces delicate, perfumed, crisp, dry white wines, but if left to hang on the vine several weeks longer it produces rich flavoursome dessert wines. Bottled promptly after vinification. Alcohol 5.0%

A light straw colour with some youthful green tinges. The nose is lifted with aromas of musk, citrus and freshly crushed grapes The palate comes alive with a vibrant and mouth filling sherbet flavour. A wine of universal appeal, suitable to every occassion, the retained carbon dioxide gives a mild frizzante effect achieving a lively, fresh wine. Moscato is wonderful with lime panna cotta or fruit based dishes. Serve well chilled and enjoy whilst young and vibrant.

This wine is made from Shiraz grapes grown principally on the Milawa vineyard. Shiraz grapes have been left on the vine to achieve high sugar levels to produce a rich, complex fortified wine. A favourite at Milawa this tawny port comprises blends of the vintages of the 1950s with selected material from the best years since. Divine and unsurpassable, the flavours are many and complex. There is an ambrosic mixture of raisin and sweet liquorice tobaccoey nuances that play on the age of the wine and give subtle sweet complex arrays of dried orchard fruits.
