Another really nice wine from the marvelous Pike & Joyce vineyard at Lenswood. Not the in your face style of overtly fruity Sauvignon Blanc, Pike and Joyce shows freshness and concentration, but also restraint, subtlety and poise. Once again it shows that there is an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc from across the ditch. A perfect match to seared fresh shellfish drizzled with herb butter sauce.
