Chardonnay from the idyllic aspects of Mornington, elevated cooler parts of the peninsula and warmer northerly parts, enjoy a deservedly high reputation due to the influence of the invigorating maritime climes. Red Hill Estate has been making this highly popular and successful style of Chardonnay for over a decade. A sub-regional assemblage of several clones of fruit grown to vineyards at Tuerong and Merricks North, Red Hill and Main Ridge, achieving a wine of depth and complexity. An opulent expression of Mornington with distinctive aromatics.

Red Hill Estate Pinot Noir 2011

Pinot Noir has been the shining star of Mornington for some time now. Six different clones from six different vineyards across the Peninsula have been assembled. Red Hill drinks well at a very young age and is best consumed soon after release if you just want the cherries, plum and strawberry fruit flavours. If you wish to walk a little on the wilder side, put Red Hill away into a quite cellar for development of extra savoury and gamey characters.
