The family Hentschke have been Barossa farming since 1842, they know from good soils and settle on nothing but the finest land. Keith Hentschke chose a special site along Greenock Creek, at the intersection of Gerald Roberts and Jenke Roads, near the ancient winegrowing hamlet of Seppeltsfield to plant vines in the early 1990s. They now yield vintages of the most amazing intensity, saturated with the essence of grand Barossa Shiraz, an international wine industry favourite and a sagacious selection this.. Newer blocks were gradually established around these priceless parcels, ostensibly with a view to supplying leading national brands. The quality of fruit became so conspicuous that Grove Estate sanctioned industry celebrities from Ravensworth and Clonakilla to begin bottling under their own.. Quiet consummations of grove estate»

Sarantos Soft Press Merlot - Buy
Merlot South Australia
With abundant cherry, plum, raspberry and sweet red fruit characters, it is an excellent match to seasoned roast chicken, pasta or Mediterranean seafood dishes.
The grapes were selected from premium growing regions throughout South Australia. Parcels of fruit which showed generous fruit concentrations were identified and treated in the Soft Press winemaking style. The grape skins were gently handled to maximize the variety's pure flavours during the fermentation process. This approach ensures the wine is pure and naturally balanced with no harsh or bitter tannins. A portion of this wine was fermented in French oak to give it added complexity of flavour and structure before being blended and bottled. The result is a soft and mellow wine that is versatile and will complement numerous food styles and dishes. Approx alcohol 13.5%
