Smirnoff is Russian through and through, originally established in Moscow a century and a half ago by the entrepreneurial son of Russian peasants. Pyotr Smirnov was a wicked man who had no conscience about exploiting newspapers and charitable organizations to grow his brand. He controlled two thirds of the Moscow market by 1886 and passed away, a very happy man. Smirnoff North is infused with nordic berries to create an indulgent white spirit, exceptionally fine with the complexity of parched, winter fruits.
