Components are matured up to twenty years through a rack and top up Solera sysem, in a selection of well seasoned oak barrels which have previously held Cognac and fine Bourbon, Iberian Sherries and Pedro Ximenez wine. Light mahogany colour with hues of barrel age at the rim. An exuberant nose with a wealth of fruit, spice and complex oak notes, burnt caramel, dry roasted nuts, marzipan and orange peel. The palate exhibits perfect harmony of spirit and sugar, with a delicacy of floral notes and honeysuckle in the background. Wonderfully complete, smooth and long with a weight of dark cherry chocolate flavours.
