John Jameson & Son were the second largest distilling company in Ireland by the early part of the 19th century. The Redbreast label was established 1903 when Jameson branded their new Bow St. Distillery, it remains the leading Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey in the world. Single Pot Still Whiskeys are unique to Ireland in general and to the Midleton Distillery of County Cork in particular. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, characterised by full, complex flavours and a wonderful creamy mouthfeel.
