Why does Auchentoshan's flavour stand so far apart? There are two main answers, the skill of Auchentoshan's Mash and Still men, as well as an insistence on ancient methodolgy, wooden washbacks and triple distillation. Auchentoshan is the only distillery in Scotland to employ a third still, every single drop is distilled three times and matured exclusively in American oak Bourbon casks. The result, a Lowland Single Malt Whisky with the sweet aromas of vanilla and coconut, along with the signature smooth and delicate, Auchentoshan taste.
Pale gold colour. To the nose, rich vanilla and coconut with a hint of green apple and tang of citrus zest. To the palate, sweet vanilla cream, fresh green apple skin and a little mint. A fresh, floral zestiness on the finish
