Kreglinger Vintage Brut 2004
	Situated on salubrious terrains at a latitude of 41° south, from a dedicated sparkling wine vineyard, the cool coastal slopes of Pipers Brook and the southeast facing terroir of the Kreglinger site yield a truly exceptional wine, one of Australia's most conspicuous Methode traditionelle. "This flavoursome sparkling wine aims to be Tasmania’s finest. Nutty, lightly oxidative notes mix, and it boasts full body with more-ish flavour and acid balance. It has a finish that lasts. 	Each $35.99 Dozen $431.88	The vines are vertically shoot positioned, hand pruned in winter and hedge trimmed in summer, husbanded by hand and nurtured through ripeness ready for picking. The grapes are all hand picked in small parcel lots and carefully transported to the nearby winery where they are delicately pressed within the hour. Modern computer PLC controlled Bucher airbag presses are used with a modified champagne cycle, to extract free run juice from the whole bunch pressed grapes. Base wines are fermented in tank and barrel, a small percentage is aged on lees until the tirage. Stored in a temperature controlled cellaring environment, disgorged some years later, followed by time on cork prior to release. Approx 12.5%
	Lemon yellow gold, a very fine and persistent bead. Classic vintage brut nose with depth, elegance and all the hallmarks of fine cool climate sparkling wine. The subtle hints of biscuit, bakers yeast, spice and citrus mineral perfume are well balanced by subtle tones of cashews and lemon, honey and multi layered fruit. A captivating, long, rich and balanced palate, a beautifully defined creamy mousse (Cordon de Mousse) forming a necklace, a bead like strings of pearl, finesse and lively mouthfeel. The addition of liqueur de dosage at disgorgement has added richness and complexity. The finish is long and fine with mineral quartz, nori and oceanic flavours, rich and crisp, dry and persistent

Heavily influenced by a unique microclimate, Norfolk Rise captures the regional characteristics of the cool climes, translating into wines of the highest calibre. Norfolk Rise Merlot 2007

Planted on the highest ridge dissecting the vineyard, the defining visual impact of Norfolk Rise is a hundred Norfolk Island Pines planted along a five hundred metre ridge. Lying in the lee of the trees are parcels of Merlot vines uncompromisingly husbanded to sustainable viticultural practices. The dark blue berries ripen slowly into voluptuous Merlot grapes with distinctive primary fruit characters. The group extended its operations to Australia, establishing the Norfolk Rise Vineyard and winery at Mount Benson on the Limestone Coast. The highest standards of viticulture are adhered to, the resultant wines bear the hallmarks of exacting selection and fastidious workmanship.
