With all the hallmarks of the Clare Valley and well established Leasingham styling, Bin 61 displays sweet fruit concentration and a boldness of structure. Leasingham has been an integral part of the Clare Valley for over a hundred years, a tradition that's been evolving since 1893. Rich soils and cool, moist conditions were perfect foundations for what is today Australia's premier Riesling appellation. Despite advice to the contrary, Leasingham planted Riesling extensively in the early 1940s. This vision led to Leasingham establishing a reputation for the finest Rieslings. Today the tradition lives on, the Leasingham name is forever linked to the exuberant styling which is recognizably Clare Valley Riesling.

Multi Trophys Winner - A generously flavoured vintage from the renowned low yielding dry land Schobers vineyard and Provis vineyards in South Australia's Clare Valley. Leasingham's winemaker Kerri Thompson has crafted the most parched and austere fruit from the old and low yielding vines into an outstanding, award winning wine. A long dry ripening season led to a low yield vintage of intense berry flavours, long structure, mesmerising depth of flavour and soft generous tannins. A complex and concentrated classic Shiraz to be celebrated with slowly cooked beef and bay leaf casseroles, pot roasts and matured cheeses.

Always a massive award and trophy winner, this princely wine carries exceptional pedigree, offering the full spectrum and elegance of Clare Shiraz characters. The wine draws on fruit from the renowned dryland Schobers vineyard, which produced a Jimmy Watson winner. Suitably mated with old Shiraz vines from the Provis vineyard, the vintage is one of Leasingham's finest. Following a search for the optimal balance of cuvees between the various parcels, this superlative Shiraz enjoyed lavish maturation under good oak barriques.

Leasingham Classic Clare Sparkling Shiraz 1998

Effervescent Shiraz and a thriller, based around barrels of aged wines sourced from the renowned dryland Schobers vineyard. The palate holds complex flavours of black plum and yeast autolysis, subtle creamy oak, concentration and fine persistent tannins. It is liqueured to a point of richness, yet the palate finishes dry due to the natural tannins and acidity.
