A limited production, hand crafted Pinot Noir reflecting the best of Marlborough. Intense and well suited for serious Pinotphiles, Ra Nui reflects choice selection of clone and rootstock, in combination with low yields, sensible oak treatment, and lees ageing. Grapes are principally sourced from the Ra Nui Summer Valley Vineyard, situated near the town of Blenheim under the lee of Wither Hills. A small, lovingly husbanded site, planted to Dijon clones of Pinot Noir, 115, 667, 777 and Abel, producing low yields of small berries with concentrated flavours.
