Louis Perdrier Brut Excellence CONFIRM VINTAGE

Chenin Blanc Ugni Blanc Folle Blanche Colombard Menu Pineau France
Elegant and effervescent, approachable and very, very French, compiled from bespoke parcels of fruit, treated to an old world vinification, fashioned to drink splendidly alongside modern cuisine. Louis Perdrier is a perfectionist, leaving nothing to chance, he personally selects a menu of varietal grapes to assemble into the definitive Vin mousseux. A generously flavoured French sparkler, exquisitely balanced, layered with crisp orchard fruit flavours, complexed by exquisite lees complexity, lined with a creamy textural mouthfeel.
Harvests of Chenin and Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard and Menu Pineau are assembled from good vineyards, trained to yield grapes exclusively for sparkling wines. Inclusion of fruit is central to the quality at Louis Perdrier, candidate parcels are visited throughout the growing season and sampled as they ripen on the vine, the rigorous selection process extends to trials at the Perdrier cellars in Beaune. Grapes are crushed and sent to fermenters for vinification, upon completion, batches are assembled into the base wine and treated to a second ferment, followed by an extended term of age on yeast lees to infuse the palate, contribute textures and achieve a sparkling wine of impeccable balance.
Straw hue with a persistent bead. Citrus, white flower and biscuit bouquet, meringue, lemon and butter notes. Creamy palate offering cut apple and nashi flavours, mid palate richness revitalized by crisp lemon acidity, followed by a clean and complex, lingering fruit filled finish.
