Margaret River makes famously intense and stylish Shiraz, somewhat more brisk, fragrant and crisp than it's siblings from winegrowing regions further afield. The balmy maritime breezes and cooler nights produce a Shiraz wine reminiscent of the mistral winds of Valley Rhone. Slightly more forward drinking than the estate's flagship editions of Shiraz, Sibling is endowed with layers of radiant olive/plum fruit characters, piquant spice and graceful tannins.

Lenton Brae Cabernet Merlot 2010

Named for the chapel district of Lenton in Nottingham, Brae is Scottish for a small hill, which is what the Lenton Brae vineyard is situated on. Fortuitously placed within the very epicenter for superior Margaret River Cabernet, the site was planted after advisement from the proprietors of nearby Moss Wood, with which it shares a similar terroir and microclime. The inaugural vintage of Cabernet won Lenton Brae a place in the pantheon of great Margaret River estates when it claimed two trophies, including best of show, at the W.A winemakers exhibition.

Lethbridge Estate Pinot Noir 2011

Lethbridge was originally planted to vine by Swiss immigrants circa 1874. Replanted and redeveloped in 1996, the site is managed to the biodynamic principles of Biological Farmers Australia. Real wine is the passion, wines which are the product of healthy vines and traditional vinification. A mixture of clones, including MV6 and 114, 115 and 777 are grown to a number of unique terroirs on the Lethbridge property. All blocks are picked and handled separately in order to construct a Pinot Noir with penetrative palate and engaging complexity.

Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Two Gawler high school mates mooted the idea of making Adelaide wine. Vineyards were surveyed, the major requirement being that old vines were a priority. They fortuitously secured for themselves supply from some precious old sites that survived the pullout schemes of the 1980s. Cabernet Sauvignon picked off vines planted to sandy loams, nestled amongst river red gums, grown to the fifty year old Evanston Gardens vineyard at Mt Lofty, are combined with a fair dash of One Tree Hill grapes, achieving a unique take on the established Cabernet style.
