Torres call on some of their most mature vineyard sites for harvests of the wonderful Muscat, to vinify alongside parcels of Traminer, into a wine that is refreshing without being austere, spicey without being cocky and lusciously grapey without being simple. A mostly Muscat wine with a smaller component of Traminer, the fruit is pressed and treated to two weeks of strictly temperature controlled tank fermentation without any contact time on skins whatsoever, to deliver a finished wine exhibiting amazing depth of complex varietal fruit characters and fresh, revitalizing palate. Viña Esmeralda undergoes no maturation and is bottled while young and vital, designed to be enjoyed chilled and crisp.
Straw yellow hue. A voluptuous, exotically perfumed nose with delicious. well defined primary aromas, some floral notes, lillies and rose.
